Life
An update: So I'm going to TAFE next year, to do a Professional Writing and Editing course. I don't know which TAFE yet I'm going to: I've had two interviews. My first preference was RMIT and I don't think that interview went very well. My second preference was Holmesglen though and that went very well. I got into the interview and they told me they really liked my portfolio, and based entirely on that, they were giving me an offer. Strangely enough that made me able to relax for the rest of the interview :P He also said at the end that he looked forward to seeing me if I went there next year, and if not, he looked forward to reading about me, which I thought was a very nice thing to say! So yes, I came out of that interview quite happy. Now I just need to decide which I want to go to, preferably before early round offers go out. Holmesglen impressed me (except for the fail maps when I was trying to find my way around) but there was a reason RMIT was my first preference to begin with. So I need to look into the courses again and decide if I want to switch my preferences around. So I can either just go to Holmesglen, or I can see if RMIT offers me a place also and go there. I'll be doing a mixture of the creative side, and the editing and publishing side, so I can get a job afterwards. It's a bit of relief to have that off my mind; at least now I have some sort of aim. Otherwise life is toddling along pretty much the same. No job - I had a bit of a look for casual or parttime work, but I don't really want to go back to working in fast food or anything. Kaia is still the most gorgeous thing on earth. Even when she's trying to eat the dog's face. Anyway, not much more to say! Current Mood: contentCurrent Music: Bernard Fanning - Yesterday's Gone |

Life
I thought I'd update, since I haven't in a long while! Hmm. Nothing really has been happening though :\ My job hunt remains unsuccessful. All the feeders I put into the job stream don't even get bitten, let alone have jobs getting away (that's happened a couple of times though). I've entered a couple of story competitions (well entered one, just getting another ready to send off tomorrow). Don't know if anything will come of it, but its nice to be writing again. And actually finishing stories for once! (I'm sorry Keziah the ending remained the same on that story - even had I wanted to I had neither the time, nor the word allowance, to change it :P) Still playing WoW. Still building in Sims and downloading custom content.. playing not so much xD Still want to try Aion, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (well James wants to play that one. At the moment it looks like a nonmmo game to me!). I was only logging onto WoW for raiding for a while, but my obsessive need to get achievements has bitten me again :p I upgraded my computer recently, with tax return! Kaia is still gorgeous. She is so much bigger now! She and the dog also play together crazy like. She full out attacks her and then the dog just flops down and puts one paw over her. We have to tell Willow to be gentle a lot - Kaia is vicious but she's so much littler it doesn't matter. Willow just has her whole weight behind her. Ummm... I burnt my leg with a hot water bottle bursting just after I filled it up. But its healing up now. It still doesn't look very pretty but it feels fine :P I think that's all I really have to say.... ^^ |

Kaia
Because our kitten is gorgeous :D ( pictures )We also changed the kitty litter and it dawned on her to go in it, not next to it, so that was solved. The dog is learning to restrain herself a little so we can almost let her out of the spare room -- the moment Kaia moves too quickly of course, Willow goes 'oooh yeah faster playing' and freaks her out again. She's so little atm its rather scary for her. But they are learning to play with each other. |

Life
For those that don't know, I have quit uni and gotten a job. It's data entry basically, but at a really nice place - very friendly and casual. Technically it's only temping at the moment, but I don't foresee any problems with it going to permanent. It'll be nice to have money! Hmmm, what else? WoW: I don't have time to raid really anymore - I'm late every day to raid times. Didn't really phase the officers in my guild, so hopefully I'll get to raid occasionally still. Jenira (my mage) has her epic mount now, maybe I will concentrate on getting my other characters epics as well. Given this was a general life update, and the first time I've posted in.. a long time, it had the potential to be very big. I fail at big posts. I feel like reading Agatha Christie... Hmmm French homeworks sucks. I don't know how I'd answer these questions in _English_ let alone another language. Also, Andrew is involved in the illegal procurement of minors. He admitted it.
